Until I found Garage 808, my car was always serviced and repaired by BMW. I found them when I was looking for a garage that I could trust to replace the timing chain. BMW was very lacklustre and created the impression that it was not required. I trawled various independents, and self-professed BMW specialists that did not fill me with any confidence. MW Specialist I was looking for. I thought they were going to be expensive. To be honest, I’m broke and I drive a BMW. Not a good combination, but life is too short to be driving a fridge. What a phenomenal experience. I was on the hunt for a replacement to having work done through the dealership for a host of reasons, and found 808. From the very first engagement over a year ago, I have experienced nothing but professionalism, honesty, amazing workmanship and surprisingly lower than expected costs. My wife's X3 had a water pump replaced along with some other minor work, and my X4 has also had a water pump replacement and service. The level of detail taken to inform me of what to expect post a brake-pad-and-disk replacement, was incredible. And the original dealerships could take a page out of the 808 run-book. What I immediately liked when I visited Garage 808 for the first time, was the professional reception and the size of the workshop area. I felt that my vehicle was the primary focus, and the technical answers and clarification of the maintenance and care for the vehicle was exactly what I was looking for. At BMW, I do not feel like the proper care and attention is paid to the car. They are in such a rush to follow a formula and get the cars out, that much is missed.
